Freedom Pest Control has 2 options for bed bug inspections.
The first option requires one of our technicians to inspect your home. His or her inspection will focus on high activity areas including beds, bed frames, mattress and box springs, couches and other places people spend time sitting still. Bed bugs aren't limited to mattress, and our inspection does not stop there. Head boards, dresser drawers and in items that maybe stored under the bed are also part of the inspection.
The second option is a K-9 dog inspection. Freedom Pest will send a trained dog handler and dog along with our technician to inspect your home. Once the dog "alerts" on a particular area, indicating a possible bed bug, we will verify the presence of eggs or live bed bugs.
Each inspection has its limitations and therefore, included in our price, we always install Climbup® Insect Interceptors under the legs of beds. This is a moat that collects bed bugs that are trying to climb into or out of bed to feed on you.
